My leadership practices for Assignment 1: 1) Not being impulsive/slow down; 2) Focus more on the details.
- What outcome/response did you experience based on these new behaviors - for yourself and others? The outcome I experienced was actually surprising! I was less stressed, more relaxed and as a result I was more creative. I found myself spending more time on tasks that required it such as making some improvements to the Division's sharepoint site.
- What challenges did you experience in implementing your leadership practices and how did you address them? The only challenge was to remember that I was working on these commitments.
- What did you learn along the way? I learned that I agree with the commitments and will work to make these commitments more common practice in my day to day activities.
- How do you plan to utilize these behaviors moving forward? Moving forward, I plan to be more aware of them and the outcomes as a result of the practices.
2nd set of leadership practices that I will commit to:
1. I commit to more realistic praises, which can be difficult for me because I feel people always should hear how wonderful they are. 2. I commit to control the enthusiasm. I will better gauge the situations because sometimes my personality may be a bit much for people -especially- in the mornings before they've had their coffee!

Are we twins or what. I have to do the same. My morning is always sunshine with a bag of sugar. As some would say, so EXTRA. Well, be it as it may, I am not grumpy in the morning and I find that its rather refreshing to say good morning. Its better then a bad one any day.

Just be yourself...enthusiasm is a good thing and can be contagious. A "Good Morning" greeting is always refreshing when its sincere and friendly.
