#1
I plan to commit to working on being patient with others I work with as each person is different and may need more time to process thoughts and responses. Also, to overall recognize people are different than me.
#2 I also plan to commit to worrying less about what people will think of my thoughts and worry less about asking the wrong questions (to a reasonable point ). I will work on having an open conversation with people even if I think they won't agree with me.

Hi Wilber; I too struggle with patience. Patience is the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, trouble, or suffering without getting angry or upset, according the most dictionaries. Recognizing people's differences is a good place to start when it comes to making changes to ones innate or learned character trait. However, remember, patience is more than just being calm in stressful situations; it's about persevering when interrupted or goaded into anger or stoppage. Patience is the level of endurance one can have before negativity sets into the mind. Michael

Hi Morgan, Good skills to work on. Do you have any SMART goals to accomplish these?

Took the words right out of my mouth, Mike! These are great targets, Morgan . . . how do you make them more specific and measurable? For example: what are the behaviors associated with being more patient and how will you implement them and measure doing so? And maybe you could commit to once each day making a point or asking a question you might otherwise not do based on feeling uncomfortable about doing so. You could then reflect at the end of each day how this went, how you felt about it, what you learned, etc. Best wishes with these!

Hi Morgan,
I like your leadership practices. Have you found opportunities to put them to use?

Hi Morgan,
Both of these are very good. Do you know what strategy you plan to use to be more patient?

Great goals! To be honest during the training I thought you always asked the right questions. Try worrying less about it, you project yourself very well.

Hi Morgan,
Great items to work on: 1. Patience is a virtue that we all struggle with, but with practice, we can improve! Looking at the "big picture" helps me to keep things in perspective and manage impatience. 2. It has been said that people are like snowflakes...no two are alike. Once one recognizes this, everyone's individuality can be appreciated.
Good luck on your plan!
