There's an article on Forbes web-site titled "What Is Leadership?" by Kevin Kruse dated 4/9/13

The article is ok. Several good points:
-It starts with what leaders aren't
-Managers and Leaders are not the same
-Leadership is influence
-Anyone can be a leader
The real gem is the video at the bottom of page two of article. Titled, "How to be a Leader: 4 Essential Tips" It's quick. About the length of a commercial, but packed with bits of info with a good video highlighting the key points visually.
