I will commit to laying a specific career path at FHWA. Presently I have been on the fence on whether I am should pursue a leadership track or a technical non-leadership track. Over the next couple weeks I will decide which path I will pursue.
I took advantage of the free survey on Trustworthiness that Jeff mentioned. According to the survey, I need to improve in the area of intentionality. So over the next couple week I am committed to being more intentional about getting specific outcomes from my everyday work. I am also committed to being more intentional about where I want to go next within FHWA.

What will help you make a determination about the path ahead, Cornelius? What are you going to do to seek this clarity?
Cool that you took the Trust assessment! How did you feel about it overall? It sounds as if you gained some solid insights and have now committed to action around them? What does being more intentional look like? Writing out goals is one way to demonstrate intention, just as a suggestion.

I have been taking a close look at my skill sets, personality and natural behavior to assess which career track they support the most.

Although I have not gotten around to it because we are in the middle of closing out the physical year, I plan to write a some specific career goals.

Cornelius, great goals. I think they are definitely attainable. I really like how you are evaluating your natural skills sets and seeing where those point you. I think that will help you to find happiness and that next challenge in your career.
