The two leadership traits that I'm focusing on improving is listening and providing feedback. So my SMART goals are:
Listening- I will increase my active listening skills at the office. When communicating with employees I will reiterate what they are asking to ensure I understand their needs. I do this at least 3 times a week.
Feedback- I will engage in giving positive feedback at least 2 times a week to co-workers using the SDI format.

Good SMART goals, Mike. I would encourage you to consider adding a reflection element to each of these that supports some qualitative measurement of how you do in implementing each of these behavioral commitments . . . not just how often, but how well . . . and the impact these they have upon those involved. Best wishes!

Hi Mike,
I like how you incorporated the use of SMART goals into your leadership practices. Good Listening skills are very important and I like how you committed to reiterating the question to ensure that you understand others.

Mike, these are great leadership practices, both tied to communication. I'm pretty sure both skills will help bring out the best in your peers.

Awesome goals Mike! Reiterating what people are asking is a really good technique that I might use myself. I try to do that when I want to remember people’s names so I assume it could work similarly with work communication.

Mike, Two important and challenging goals! If you need someone to actively listen to, or to provide positive feedback to, let me know and I'll come downstairs

Hi Mike,
Great skills to work on; all three on the supervisory panel (Al, Melisa and Basharat) mentioned the importance of communication and listening!
Good luck as you work on these!
